Let me share this information from a friend about ‘honey and coconut oil’ wrap to relieve cough, a friend’s secret for keeping away cough for years.

Tussis or cough is a rapid expulsion of air from the lungs done deliberately or involuntarily to clear the throat and breathing passage of foreign particles, irritants due to allergens, fluids, mucus or microbes.

A buildup of mucous in your bronchial tubes can lead to bronchitis, chronic cough, and dry heaving in the lungs.

When at home, Honey and Coconut Oil Wrap for cough seems promising to try when there is no other better choice if someone is helpless and in difficulty of gasping air to breathe.

It is safe to try and paste making is easy to prepare. Mix it in any proportion you want.

Recipe: The Honey and Coconut Wrap for Cough

Ingredients

  • Raw organic honey
  • Coconut oil
  •  Flour
  • Bandage or gauze

Procedure

  • Make a paste of honey, coconut oil, and flour.
  • Using a bandage or clean cloth or gauze, apply paste over and topically strap it to your chest to allow skin deep absorption.
  • Leave overnight for best result.
  • Dispose bandage after use.

Note: This is not a proven cure. Seek proper doctor’s advice when you are suffering from severe cough.

How to Make Easy Banana Ice-cream in 7 minutes

Hi everyone,

Today, I’d like to share with you a recipe for banana ice cream with peanut butter, given to me by a dear friend from Australia.

It was very easy to make and soon I was enjoying a nice cup of banana ice cream. Actually, I had more than one.

I dedicate this to my dear friend, Hien Thai. Thank you!

 

Banana Ice-cream with Peanut Butter Recipe

Ingredients

250 ml coconut milk  

2 egg yolks

1 cup mashed ripe bananas (about 5-6 small bananas)

Few drops of vanilla essence

2/3 cup peanut butter

Directions

Whip the sugar, egg yolks and salt until creamy, add the mashed banana, coconut milk, vanilla essence and peanut butter and stir.

Freeze

Stir every 2 – 3 hours, 2 – 3 times and freeze for another 4 hours before serving.

Add strawberry, pineapple jam or marshmallow when serving. Yummy!

Hana’s Wasabi Fried Chicken Wings – FREE Recipe

I’ve been busy the past week working on a recipe for my upcoming recipe book, which is a follow-up to my first book, “Hana’s Favorite Chicken Recipes”.

Hana’s Wasabi Fried Chicken Wings

Deep fried chicken wings marinated with wasabi. Easy to prepare and is just amazingly yummy!

Best served hot, you can also store the fried chicken wings in a container for a later snack anytime during the day.

It’s so delicious, you can eat it by itself! Try it with a glass of wine or beer!

Ingredients

8 pieces of chicken wings (I love middle wings)

2 tablespoons wasabi paste

1 teaspoon red chili flakes

1 tablespoon soy sauce and 1 teaspoon brown organic sugar, mixed

1 teaspoon cornstarch

Salt to taste

Directions

Wipe the middle wings dry. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl. Rub the ingredients evenly onto the wing parts. Leave to marinade at room temperature for at least 30 minutes.

Deep fry the chicken wings in a deep skillet until the chicken is cooked and brown.

Drip dry the excess oil on a rack.

Garnish with ripe tomatoes and serve. Add a teaspoon of wasabi as a dip if you prefer.

Health Benefits of Eating Watermelon

Besides being a great thirst quencher, watermelon is packed with nutrition.

  • Excellent source of vitamin C.

  • Very good source of vitamin A.

  • Good source of potassium and magnesium.

  • Small amounts of most of the B vitamins.

  • Trace amounts of vitamin K and pantothenic acid.

Delicious Deep Fried Thai Fish

Deep Fried Thai Fish

We have been a year and a half residing in one of the village here in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

We have a good neighbor and friend who allows us to follow her when she goes to the Hyper market and also to the night market which is about 5 to 10 minutes drive from where we stay.

I love the locals lifestyle specially when it comes to their food. And at the night market, you can buy variations of food: Salads, fried stuffs, cooked meals and others.

My friend buys deep fried fish for her cats. The fish is meant for people to eat but her cats are like her kids, they eat deep fried fish aside from their regular cat foods.

The other day, I decided to buy one deep fried fish and when I got home I re-fried and garnished with tomatoes.
It was awesome delicious! I would love to share how simple the preparations is. Please read below. Thank you.

Deep Fried Thai Fish

Ingredients

Deep Fried Fresh local Thai fish

Fresh Tomatoes
Cubed carrots and jerkins

6 tablespoons of Extra Virgin Coconut Oil
few slices fresh ginger

5 Green chilies, 1 garlic and 1 medium red onions, diced

a dash of White pepper powder

2 or 3 teaspoon of light soy sauce to taste

2 teaspoons of lime juice

Preparations

First, pound the green chilies, garlic and red onions together, set aside

Saute the sliced fresh ginger with the coconut oil until brown and crispy

Add the pounded green chilies, garlic and red onions, stir until fragrant

Add white pepper, light soy sauce and lime juice, mix well

Stir in cubed carrots, jerkins and tomato chunks

Dish out and arrange on top the deep fried fish. Serve with steamed white rice!
