Hana’s Recipe for Marital Happiness

Going for 17th year Wedding Anniversary? Yes, I am!!!

On October 14th, we celebrated our 16th wedding anniversary. A number of friends and family members’ congratulated us and wow, it did prove time flies :).

It is good to know that you mark your calendar each year. Birthdays and Wedding Anniversaries are eventful dates to remind friends or couples who are close or dear to your life. Mere wishing could bring them joy and makes you happy as well. Some guys may not even remember their own wedding day :(. Are you?

Here’s how we shaped our ’16 years old Marital Success’ which I marked as  Hana’s Recipe for Marital Happiness :

Buddy and me

How do you describe happiness, and joy between pleasure? Had you ever thought deeply your goals before marriage? Most of us didn’t really stop, sit and discuss before saying ‘I Do’ . We followed our hearts, right? and the rest is ‘come what may’ 🙂

The years that bound us has lots to say; here’s the most remarkable elements that kept us strong, loving and caring partners for 16 years :

  1. Remove the I in every issue. In other words get rid of your EGO.
  2. Be a part of your partner – share what you can and be ONE – cross out selfishness.
  3. Gratitude, appreciate what you have
  4. Kindness
  5. Love and compassion
  6. It’s the little things that matter.
The above is Hana’s  recipe for marital happiness. What is yours?
Have fun!
