  8. Could the door cream be replaced with something else, like Greek yogurt? My husband won’t eat anything with sour cream and no matter what I’ve snuck it into, he can always taste it!

    1. Hi Martha!

I have not tried using Greek yogurt yet. However you can try using it. It could be tastier. Maybe add just a spoonful of condensed milk.

      Thanks Martha.

      Hana @ goingfabulous.com

    2. Yogurt is an excellent substitute for sour cream in most recipes, but keep in mind it is thinner in texture. Thicken yogurt by draining through a cheesecloth-lined sieve over a bowl in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

      1. Hi Mary!

Thank you for the tips. I love and enjoy yogurt. Some days,I make my own supply.

        Love lots,

  15. For the Chocolate no bake bars, What could I replace the coconut oil or honey with and with what amount?

    1. Hi Ann!

Thank you for the queries about replacing coconut oil / honey in this recipe.

Well, I suggest if you are adventurous to try. You may replace coconut oil to olive oil and honey to condensed milk or molasses in liquid form. Try with same amount.

This is the closest I will do if I am in your shoes Ann.

      Hope you will like it;

      Thanks and love,

What if you are allergic to peanuts? Can peanut butter be replaced?

    Thanks much,

    SaraK

    1. Hi Sara!

Here are some suggestions for your peanut replacement:-

Use either one of these… Macadamia nut butter, walnut, Almond, pumpkin or sunflower seed butter or the roasted pine nut butter

    1. Hello Bethany!

You can do try what you think is great, Bethany. It sounds fine with me. For less sugar, cut down on sugar and chocolate chips.

  32. Hi! Why do people keep asking you to email them the recipe? Am I the only person who sees it right here on the website? Huh!
Anyway, is there anything you can suggest to substitute for the shredded coconut. Not a fan of coconut.

    1. Hi Liz!

Thanks for the thought Liz, I did wonder why too. In a way, I have not tried any coconut replacement for the toppings yet but if I were to try as I love cheese, maybe I top with cottage cheese or any low fat cheese.
